  1. I just finished reading your book today. First I would like to thank you so much for sharing your story. I decided to read the book because 1. A friend told me it was a good book but 2. I have always been interested in forensics and unsolved cases. When I began reading it I realised it was much more than that. I was so drawn in especially because I had been adopted not by both parents like you had but by my father. I could feel everty feeling you were having because I have gone through it. Again not the level you did but I could relate. The emotional rollercoaster. Then with all the facts and evidence that your biological father Van is the zodiac I kept waiting for you to end it with they solved the case. I am not an avid of looking up old cases so I honestly didn’t know at the time I started reading that it is still unsolved. I am almost angry that they have yet to solve the case with all that you have presented and even giving up the dna. I can only imagine how you must feel. I wanted to rake the time to say thank you for sharing your journey as well as to let you know I completely believe everything that you have proven such as the old friends stories to the hand written examination I do not doubt for one second that you are correct. I hope you and your family are doing well. And congratulations to you to the success of this book.

    • Also. I forgot to ask. After William had passed did he leave to you the book that your father had gifted him. The one that he had assumed had been bound by skin?

      • Allea_D,

What a great question! I would love nothing more than to have that book in my possession. Not for its ‘market value,’ but for its personal value to me as being something my father thought enough of to give to a friend … his only friend. However, after William passed away, I asked his wife about the book, and she said William had given it to their daughter. I told them I would be willing to buy the book from her and never received any response. The book is likely worth much more money now since the release of my book, but I don’t want it because of its market value. I’d like to have it because it once belonged to my father.

    • Hi Allea_D,
Thank you for your kind words. I enjoy hearing from people who have experienced life from the adopted point of view. As you see, there was no other way to tell my story except just put it all out there. I believe that my efforts will prove the closure of this case once and for all…and it is only a matter of time.
      Thanks again for reaching out!
